Alliance Française Toronto presents Trifolia – Marianne Trudel‘s mixed media musical show, combining jazz, romantic music and world rhythms, inspired by the French sculptor Camille Claudel.
The name trifolia is often applied to a plant that possesses three leaves. In this case, the three musicians of Trifolia form a dynamic unit. Marianne Trudel on piano with Patrick Graham on percussions, and Etienne Lafrance on double bass have been enchanting audiences since last year.
Trifolia: Le Refuge was also the Winner of the prix Opus 2012-13 for Jazz CD of the year and was nominated for the Juno Awards, as well. The trio will be in Toronto for one night only, November 22nd. Do not miss this chance to hear them live in and in the round.
