Alright this is just a short posting to let you know that there is always “something to do” in Toronto… The weather will be nice, little humidity, so there is no excuse to stay home.
Where do we start? Well, the Taste of Little Italy on College St. West of Bathurst takes place from June 13-15. What better place to sit at a patio with some light fare and enjoy watching some Euro Cup matches? This side of downtown is always happening.
The World Wide Short Film Festival is underway with several hundred short films playing for your entertainment. I attended the Opening Gala last night; the films were imaginative and entertaining. You will find something you’d like. For more info on schedules, film titles, locations and ticket prices go here.
The 14th Annual NXNE Festival is also underway. It includes workshops, music concerts and films. For those of you who love music and all it entails, this is for you.
Let’s not forget Luminato, which started last Friday (June 6th). There are plenty of ticketed and free events. This weekend both Harbourfront Centre and the Distillery District have some cool free events for everyone in the family.
Of course, Father’s Day is also this upcoming Sunday. Do take the time to say thanks and celebrate…
