On September 30, Hollywood Suite will present a special day of programming commemorating the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and celebrating the work of Indigenous filmmakers, performers, creatives, and artists from across the nation.
This year’s lineup brings together films representing a range of Indigenous cultures and communities, including Cree-Métis, Métis, Mi’kmaq, Mohawk, and Secwépemc perspectives. From science fiction and action thrillers to coming-of-age dramas, documentaries and comedies, the programming showcases the breadth of Indigenous storytelling.
The all-day programming begins at 6 a.m. ET with Beans (2020) and concludes with Rhymes for Young Ghouls (2013) at 3:30 a.m. ET the following morning.
