American conductor Richard Kaufman (Principal Pops Conductor of Pacific Symphony, and Pops Conductor Laureate of the Dallas Symphony) makes his Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) début with Best of Hollywood (April 2, 3 & 6).
Kaufman shares the stage with his own daughter, singer/actress Whitney Claire Kaufman, offering music from Tinseltown’s most memorable films—including selections from such fabulous scores as The Untouchables, Frozen, Out of Africa, Ben-Hur, Dr. Zhivago, The Wizard of Oz, The Magnificent Seven, The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, and many more!
They will also share some stories and anecdotes throughout the performance.
For your chance to win a pair of tickets to TSO’s Best of Hollywood, simply e-mail me at hyemusings@gmail.com with your full name. All you have to do is name one of the films for which TSO will play music.
Contest is open to all Toronto residents, one entry per household please and it will run until Monday, April 1, 2019 at 11:59AM. All winners will be informed after the contest has closed.
