What if you could hire someone to pay penance for you? This is what The Apologist, the new play by Colleen Osborn aims to
Written by Colleen Osborn
Directed by Chelsea Dab Hilke
Stage Managed by Ellen Brooker
Featuring:
Carmen Kruk as Marsha
Evan Walsh as Cliff Manners (a.k.a. The Apologist)
Set in a world 10 minutes into the future, people hire The Apologist to do their penance for them, never taking full responsibility for their wrongdoings.
Today, Cliff delivers a misplaced apology to Marsha — one that he will soon learn to regret.
The rest, we’ll have just have to see the show to find out!
The show will be running at the Imperial Pub (near Dundas Square) from October 23-26. The show is ONE HOUR, in a BAR, tickets start range from $15 to $25, and it will definitely be good for a laugh!
