Superboys of Maleagaon is not only a biopic relating the life of Shaikh and his close friends, but also a caring look at the ‘magic’ that movies and friendship can create.
During TIFF, the director, producers and cast members were there along with Nasir Shaikh himself to be part of the film’s world premiere. I had the opportunity to attend the premiere with my good friend, photographer Trevor Sherwin. Sharing our thoughts on the film here.
Superboys of Maleagaon is produced by Excel Entertainment, Tiger Baby and Amazon MGM Studios with an expected theatrical release in North America and India in 2025.
