Toronto’s theatre scene continues to offer us some great selections this month. My pick for this week is Seven Siblings Theatre‘s production of Bryony Lavery‘s play Frozen currently on-stage at the b current studio theatre.
Nightwood Theatre has announced that Erin Brubacher & Christine Brubaker are returning for a final pop-up presentation of 7th Cousins in Toronto, as a part of their 2017-18 season, presented in partnership with the Ismaili Centre Toronto.

All good things must come to an end. This weekend marks the 25th anniversary of Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival to a close. But do not despair, there are still two days full of excellent documentary films for you to discover. Here are a few for you to choose from.
Jean-Simon Chartier‘s Playing Hard delves into the creation of For Honor, a video game released by Ubisoft last year with lots of buzz attached to it. With unprecedented access, we get to see the creation of this original-concept game from idea to its market release.
Activist and PhD Candidate Mandi Gray, who made headlines from 2015 to 2017 for taking her rapist to court, will premiere her film Slut or Nut at Hot Docs 2018. Slut or Nut is a quirky, touching look at the legal, emotional, and physical struggles survivors face both within Toronto and in greater society. Gray took the time to share part of her experience with the case, and in making the film.
