Prince Edward County’s (PEC) Festival Players have annouced their lineup for an ambitious and celebratory 2022 summer season. Sara is the bookwriter for Kelly v. Kelly, which she wrote with Britta Johnson (music and lyrics) with the Canadian Stage and Musical Stage Companies. The world premiere of Kelly v. Kelly was delayed due to COVID. The Musical Stage Company is dedicated to the future of the piece and look forward to premiering it in a future season.
Anna Kuelken, has been selected as the National winner of the 19th annual BMO 1st Art! Competition.
As the National winner Anna has been awarded a cash prize of $15,000 for her film submission, entitled Father Like Son. The 17-minute long film offers a brief look into daily life on the filmmaker’s small family farm. As her young niece and nephew grow and integrate into the farm, they are faced with difficult lessons about empathy and where their food comes from.

The five-day online comedy festival will celebrate the vast creativity of sketch comedians in the COVID era with comedy shorts by powerhouse rising stars and Canadian comedy legends both behind and in front of the camera.
TOsketchfest21 – Screen Time Edition will include 15 online shorts programmes and live stream events, post show “lobby parties”, the Learning and Fun Professional Development Program and more.
