Culture enthusiasts and music lovers, like myself, can partake in PANAMANIA, presented by CIBC, the 35-day Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games arts and culture festival. Unprecedented in scale, PANAMANIA will feature more than 1,300 artists in 250 performances and exhibitions across Toronto now until August 15.
North by Northeast (NXNE) takes over Toronto starting tonight! As part of its music line up, it has announced award-winning hip-hop artist Shad will be headlining at Yonge-Dundas Square on Sunday, June 21. Presented by Vans, the rapper completes the weekend line-up alongside previously announced artists NÜE, Casey Veggies, and Ty Dolla $ign.
The good people at one of my favourite second-hand bookstores, Sellers & Newel, are launching a new series. On Thursday, June 11, they launch the Sellers & Newel Speakeasy which will featuring live music in one of Toronto’s smallest bookstore.
The TD Toronto Jazz Festival has added another funk and soul master to this year’s lineup! Responsible for revolutionizing R&B during the ’70s and twisting soul music into funk, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic will headline opening night on Friday, June 19 for a FREE special performance as part of Music Mania weekend.

Last month, the company announced the appointment of Jeff Poirier as the new Country Manager of StubHub Canada.
