The Kitchener Waterloo Film Festival (KWFF) proudly showcases films from an equal balance of local, national, and international filmmakers.
After four years of running on a strictly local-entry basis, this is our fourth year opening our unique festival to the world.
Festival founder Daniel McLeod took some time to speak with me about the festival’s beginnings and its evolution over the past four years.

Premiere of Feature Film DEMENTO by Athan Bao Vu along with 8 wild short films
The Shorts: Saturday June 1st 7pm – 10pm
18 Short films featuring local, national, and international talent of all genres
The Other Side: Sunday June 2nd 6pm – 9m
KW’s Premiere of THE MARTINI SHOT written and directed by Stephen Wallis along with 6 short films
All KWFF screenings take place at the Princess Cinema.
