Damon Bradley Jang (He/Him/His) is a multifaceted performing arts practitioner and creator. A graduate of Capilano University’s Music Theatre program and Innagural Bachelors of Performing Arts program. He is also the Co-artistic/marketing director of Fabulist Theatre in British Columbia, Canada.
Jang is currently in his second year as a member of the Stratford Festival‘s Birmingham Conservatory and he is the first IBPOC/BIPOC male directing candidate.
He and I had a great conversation recently about his career in theatre and his current experience with Stratford Festival.
Jang is the Assistant director of Stratford Festival’s upcoming Casey and Diana. The play will explore the historic visit of Diana, Princess of Wales, to Toronto AIDS hospice, Casey House in 1991. Tickets are available now via the Stratford Festival website.
