Hot Docs launches Discover Ontario, a six-part film series by Ontario filmmakers showcasing the vibrant people and places around the province. Presented with the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC), Discover Ontario features some of the province’s most intriguing cultural destinations. Screenings take place March 24 to August 16, on select dates and times, at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema.
Comedian Norm Macdonald hosted the 2016 Canadian Screen Awards (CSAs) live on CBC from the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, where 39 CSAs were presented to winners from across the country, it was announced by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
